First there was Rev. Wright with his “God Damn America” speech. Now we have a Catholic Priest, Father Pfleger, which is kind of a fun name to say out loud, mocking Clinton and white people in general.
The Georgetown Blog notes:
During his sermon, Father Pfleger mocked Hillary Clinton’s tears before the New Hampshire primary. He opines that she cried because she felt “entitled” because she is white “and there’s a black man stealing my show.” Father Pfleger apologized late Thursday for the remarks, saying his sermon was “inconsistent with Senator Obama’s life and message.”
Though after now two religious leaders at one very racist Church saying very anti-white things, you start to wonder if Obama’s message isn’t really more along the same lines, just better disguised. Indeed, Obama is a slick character, and who would honestly be surprised if his message wasn’t merely camouflaged beneath his hope & change rhetoric?
I mean, I still have very little substance with which to judge Obama, so why not take what his pastor and other clergy that he’s been involved with to heart? They have a very clear message.
Funny, Father Pfleger is white, and yet listen to these statements he makes:
“She just always thought this is mine. I’m Bill’s wife, I’m white and this is mine,” Pfleger told the appreciative congregation.
“Then out of nowhere came, ‘Hey, I’m Barack Obama,’ and she said, ‘Oh, damn. Where did you come from? I’m white. I’m entitled. There’s a black man stealing my show.’”
Pfleger added: “She wasn’t the only one crying. There was a whole a lot of white people crying.”
All at once he puts Reverend Wright to shame, along with all the commentators who denounced Hillary’s crying episode. Harsh words, and not just aimed at Hillary, but “a whole lot of white people” too.
I guess this nonsense is common fare at Trinity with or without Jeremiah Wright.
