U.S. Economic Crisis Pinches New Hampshire

U.S. economy crisis affects New HampshireA blissful attainment for New Hampshire was achieved on the month of May as the unemployment rate fell to 4.8 percent which was considered as the 3rd best rate in the United States and the lowest since December 2008.

This healthy stage of the state’s economy ought to be good news for President Barack Obama’s re-election hopes in 2012 that is mostly seen as an indicator for the national political mood in the state of New England.

But it isn’t that easy, the people of New Hampshire are still depressed about the economy regardless of the slow recovery and the weathering of such recession better than most of the countries. This makes it more complicated to guess on which path will the state go when Obama faces 2012 re-election.

From an opinion poll last month, the job performance ranking of Obama which he won in 2008 remains low with 54 percent of the vote in the state of New Hampshire.

The assessment for WMUR television station made by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center showed that Obama got a 49 percent job dissatisfaction rating in opposition to 46 percent approval.

The remaining 56 percent of the adults in New Hampshire disapproved Obama’s economy management and hardly one out of three felt the nation is going to a greener pasture.

New Hampshire developed in the past few years but a lot of people feel negative somewhat because of high nationwide unemployment rate of 9.2 percent and the elevated price of gas.
