Advancing arrogance into an art form with a remarkable relentless risque commitment to liberty, egalitarianism, individualism, and laissez-faire values.

America differs qualitatively from all other nations, because of her unique origins, nat’l credo, historical evolution, and distinctive political and religious institutions.

Great Satan is magically especial because she was a country of immigrants and the first modern democracy.

Loud, proud and rowdy - early America forecast future stuff with a provocative lingo that still fits today. “Don’t Tread On Me!” “Liberty Or Death”, “Live Free Or Die”

The belief in the superiority of the American model is reflected in the perception among Americans of America’s role in the world. That American foreign policy is based on moral principles is a consistent theme in the American discourse – a phenomenon recognized even by those who are skeptic of such an assessment.

This inclination to do right has been virtually unique among the nations of the world - and for this very reason - America has been totally misunderstood. How could a nation so rich, so successful actually, really be so unselfish and so caring?

Critics cry America must have darker motives! America must be seeking imperium - to dominate everyone else, suck up all the oil, to trade and rob blind for America’s selfish purposes.

People from more grasping, less idealistic societies find it nigh impossible to accept that America honestly believes that giving everyone opportunity is the real roadmap for abundance and happiness everywhere - not merely in the magical Great Satan.

Americans honestly believe that securing other people’s freedom is actually like the best guarantee that America can keep her own.

America does not want to dominate the world. Americans want to live in peace and hope other people will too.

America will go out into the world, redress errors, stop unacceptable behaviour, to first challenge then annihilate threats to our liberty.

Creative destruction is Great Satan’s middle name. It is her natural function, for she is the one truly revolutionary country in the world for more than 2 centuries.

She does it automatically, and that is precisely why tyrants hate her guts, and are driven to attack her. An enormous advantage, tyrants fear her, and their oppressed peoples want what she offers: freedom.

Amazingly, some suspect states, illegit leaders and some people have not yet comprehended that America’s primary intention is to preserve and keep our own land and liberty and all it’s prosperity and that America will do anything and go anywhere to make it happen.

Great Satan built the modern world.

And She knows her way around.

There is little doubt that the notion most Americans have in their heads of neoconservatism has been at least temporarily skewed due to the perceived failures in Iraq. Regardless of the fact that things are actually improving on the ground finally, the bad taste left in many proverbial mouths when uttering the term “neocon” is more than apparent.

Of course, the fact is what the vast majority of people associate with neoconservatism is, in fact, a complete misconception of what it actually means to be a neoconservative. Even Kristol’s article may be only one aspect, one perspective on what it means to be a neocon. Indeed, a whole new generation of neoconservative thinkers is sprouting up, both here in the US and overseas.  Why?  Irving Kristol says it well,

In 2004, Scotland Yard detectives slept on the floor of their offices as they gathered evidence that could be used in court against a terrorist network led by Dhiren Barot. The intelligence was overwhelming but it was only in the final moments of the two week time period that they were able to prevent the release of Al Qaeda terrorists onto the streets of London.

As The Telegraph noted: “Two years later, they pleaded guilty to plotting to make a dirty bomb and to kill fellow citizens in huge numbers.”

Many journalists, politicians and bloggers like to make comparisons of Islamic terrorism to the atrocities of the IRA. Former British Prime Minister Sir John Major made the astoundingly naive claim that the United Kingdom had, “faced far more regular - and no less violent - assaults from the IRA”.

Reverend Jeremiah Wright forced Barack Obama into this position. Becoming a father figure to Obama (in the absence of Obama’s own father), Jeremiah Wright decided to do a despicable thing. Putting a young man that considered him a father figure into a difficult position by making comments detrimental to him, that young man gave his father figure the benefit of the doubt. After being cut that slack from Obama, Jeremiah Wright then proceeded to take that slack and attempt to hang Barack Obama with it for his own selfish reasons.

Jeremiah Wright is a proud man, apparently too proud to realize that everyone in his church does not have to agree with everything that he preaches from the pulpit. Indeed, sources that know Wright have made the point that Barack Obama’s speech which did not personally distance Obama from Wright, saying he could not divorce himself from Wright anymore than he could from his own grandmother, started the spat. Wright took this separation of Obama from his radical ideas as a personal insult and seems to have planned three straight speaking engagements in which that he could do the most damage to Barack Obama while doing the most for himself. As he was savaging Barack Obama, saying that Obama did not believe what he claimed to in his speeches and essentially calling Obama a liar. Real friends, real mentors and real pastors do not do such things to the members of their flock. They don’t attempt to embarrass them in public.

While Wright betrayed no emotion as he excoriated Obama on the national stage, Obama showed both sadness and anger that their relationship had to be this way. Sadly, I believe that Pastor Jeremiah Wright’s only prerogative is to transfer the good luck he had to have as one of his congregates the first legitimate black presidential candidate into a national audience for his pet sermons, his worst accusations about the government and the white race along with a healthy dose of the root of all evil: the love of money. Pastor Wright has mentioned more than a few times that he will have a book coming out later this year that will reveal his theological/racial ramblings in greater depth than his speeches have. One does have to credit Wright with something: at least he is upfront about his naked ambition by pushing his book in the middle of his speeches.

Rev. Jeremiah Wright represents, to me, what is wrong with this country. He is like the parent that takes their child to Hollywood with $$$ in their eyes and tries to cash in, not concerned with the welfare of the child in the process. Wright became close to a young man without a father, brought him into the Christian faith and then, when the opportunity arose, tried to sacrifice Obama’s career to boost his own with no regard for Obama’s wellbeing. Indeed, once Obama publicly caused any problems with Rev. Wright promoting himself, he declared war on Obama himself. Jeremiah Wright is not a man of God… he is a man of Jeremiah Wright. He is our for himself and himself alone. Wright is a predator, plain and simple, no better than any other man and unfit to return to the pulpit because of his attempted destruction of Obama’s candidacy which surely represents the principles of Christ more than Wright does by pursuing reconciliation among the races and a moving forward of this people as American, not -Americans. For that reason Barack Obama has cut his ties with Wright and that is why it is voters should cease listening to Wright.
